Respiratory examination

Respiratory examination
Diagnosis and treatment of sudden onset or long-standing respiratory symptoms. These include coughing, runny nose, choking, strange breathing sounds, and free air or fluid in the chest.
In addition to general tests, we also carry out blood tests, CT scans, endoscopic examinations and blood gas analysis to establish the diagnosis. If necessary, we can also perform thoracic surgery in consultation with the specialists in the Department of Surgery and Diagnostics.
Some common respiratory conditions that we treat include:
- Chronic bronchitis (asthma) in dogs and cats
- Pneumonia and pleurisy
- Machine paralysis
- Tracheal constriction and collapse
